Wyndstar is operated as a bare-land strata. This means that the strata maintains and manages bylaws that pertain to the common property of the community (curb to curb). The strata is responsible for the maintenance of Wyndstar roads (IE - parking regulations and snow removal), our common sewer system, and the landscaping/fencing along the front of our property (208th Street). Unlike a regular strata (IE - condo/townhouse), the Wyndstar Strata is not responsible for anything on your private property. This means that you are responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of things such as your lawn, gardens, fences, and roofs.
The Wyndstar Strata is proud of the community we have built here and are dedicated to insuring our neighbourhood continues to be a dynamic and exciting place for everyone to live. To this end, we ask that everyone does their best to be a "good neighbour" because that is ultimately what makes Wyndstar the amazing place to live that it is.
Currently, there are five members on the strata that volunteer their time to make sure that common property maintenance is taken care of and that a properly funded contingency fund is in place for any future capital expenditures that are required.
